Bring the whole family to the conference! American Atheists is partnering with Camp Quest Southeast to create a fun-filled program for kids ages 8 and up!

Registration includes lunch, snacks and drinks, and all art and program supplies. Camp Quest programming will be Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-6:30pm and a movie night will be offered Saturday 8-10pm.

Activities

Children will enjoy a variety of arts and crafts, science, and hands-on activities appropriate for their ages during the conference. From making our own solar eclipse viewers to exploring eclipses in mythology to creating a beaded story of the universe and much more, kids will have a great time while also celebrating the eclipse.  Add movies and board games in the evening and kids will experience Camp Quest’s signature “Fun, Friends, and Freethought” during the conference.

Safety and Accountability

The Camp Quest Kids Program will be overseen by Amy Monsky, executive director of Camp Quest Southeast and led by several of Camp Quest South Carolina’s experienced counselors, each who has undergone strict background checks and are familiar with Camp Quest’s and American Atheists’ mission and values. Camp Quest Southeast has operated Camp Quest South Carolina for 6 years, debuted our new location in Mississippi (Camp Quest Natchez Trace) in June 2017, and will open our newest location in central Florida in August 2018.
