First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

    • 横から失礼します。結論からいえば、eien20さんが仰っていることが全てです。JAWPでの一連のやり取り含め、湯崩正海さんの理屈は通りません。3週間空けているのではなく、議論は十分煮詰まっており、対処者の終了判定を待っている状態と判断できます。それと、湯崩正海さんはJAWPにおいても既に数多くの問題行動を起こされていることを自覚してください。私自身、JAWPであなたに対するコメント依頼提出を検討している程です。お願いですからご自身の言動を見直し、改善に努めてください。

    • 毎度ありがとうございます。中華人民共和国著作権法第5条では、事実または出来事に関する単なる情報は同法の保護にかけられないとされていますが、創作物でもない実際の事件関連の画像は、単なる事実です。こちらの雛型もあります。

  • その判決文を見ようとして、アカウントを作成しようと試みてみましたが、電話番号認証のための電話番号を送信できなかったので、見るのを諦めます。申し訳ございません。
  • たとえば、ある人目の付かない場所でなにか事件が起こったとしましょう。偶然通りかかった写真家がその事件の瞬間で、しかもその内容が衝撃的で巧妙な手口を写しているのであり、その程度が写真を見ただけで概ねどんな事件かはっきりわかり、再現性の余地がないものになると、本人が権限を放棄または没後50年でPDにならない限り、独創性があるとして保護されるでしょう。
  • しかし、この事件の場合、そもそも動画（写真）を撮影するためにでっち上げられた事件であるため、模倣による再現度が高く、また、写真の内容が非常に簡素であるため、独創的とは言えないでしょう。今では世界中に衝撃が走りましたが、昨今でも世界の至る所で迷惑動画が撮影されており、この事件も数ある迷惑動画の中のひとつでしかなく、珍しいものではありません。
  • 今回の場合は、一概に事件と関係あるからなどという理由で著作権を排除できるわけでもないですので、作品が示す内容をよく考えてみるといいのかもしれません。

Hi, I've uploaded the related court decisions to Google Drive [1]. You can use Google Translate to convert to Japanese. A bit of a disclaimer is in order: I am not a legist and cannot give professional advice. I can only draw the following conclusions based on the court judgments and Wikipedia's policy:
1. The copyright law of China does not specify the creative threshold for photographic works.
2. News images taken by people can almost always be copyrighted (i.e. there is no lost judgment).
3. Since this picture can no longer be taken by oneself, it can be uploaded to the Chinese and English Wikipedia according to fair use (but fair use is not allowed in Japanese Wikipedia).
