Megan started the Cleveland Humanist Alliance (Cleveland, Ohio) in January of 2017, with the goal to connect with and empower nonbelievers who are working to better their communities. Since then, the knowledge, experiences and people she’s met have all broadened her scope of humanism and atheism, and strengthened her values. Megan is excited to be a part of American Atheists’ vision of normalizing and humanizing atheism, showing kindness in action, and standing up for those marginalized by social and political systems.
For more than 55 years, American Atheists has fought to protect the absolute separation of religion from government and to elevate atheists and atheism in our nation’s public and political discourse.
