A discussion of the Catholic Churches involvement in European politics during WWII.
Joseph McCabe was born to an Irish Catholic family in Macclesfield in Cheshire on the 12th of November, 1867. A Franciscan priest until 1896, he left the order due to his declining faith and dislike of the priesthood. He went on to write nearly 250 books, at first against the priesthood and then against all religious faith. Haldeman-Julius Publications released over 100 Big Blue Books written by McCabe.? Considered a prolific lecturer McCabe gave, by his own estimate, three to four thousand lectures by the age of eighty. He died January 10th, 1955.
