Amber is a dedicated volunteer, advocate, educator, wife, and mother of two. She is currently in her second year at William & Mary’s School of Education for a Master’s in Education, School Counseling program. Amber is the president and co-founder of Pride in the ‘Peake, Chesapeake’s first family and youth-oriented Pride festival. Additionally, Amber is the membership lead for the Chesapeake Moms Demand Action Chapter, and sits on the board of directors for the Washington Area Secular Humanists. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master’s in Mass Communications. She uses this expertise as a freelance to serve as a campaign manager for local candidates as well as offering public relations services pro bono to other volunteer organizations.
