Nolan was born and raised in northern Mississippi and lived there until a few years ago when he relocated to Milwaukee. He is an IT professional with a background in youth organizations, volunteering for 4-H and Future Farmers of America. Nolan ran for House of Representatives in Mississippi and tried to create a secular caucus for in the state. He enjoys playing disc golf and is an avid football (soccer) fan.
