Born in Japan and raised in Texas, Bill spent 35 years working at Bell Labs in New Jersey until retiring in 2016. The last chapters of his professional career were written as a marketing executive for wireless communications, where he helped usher in the latest generations of public network technology including 3G, 4G and 5G. He is an avid hiker, cyclist, skier, SCUBA diver and musician. Inspired by the outstanding speakers and leaders he met at his first AACON in 2017, Bill volunteered to become the State Director for New Jersey.
